Producer Jade Alexander loves finding new ways to bring the audience into the story. From creating the immersive sensory experience ‘Black Out’ for ASICS to the world’s first live-action interactive sci-fi film The Complex, she thrives on creative and technical challenges that disrupt the everyday.
Her career has taken her to the skies and the seas, shooting 3D aerial and underwater filming in Australia, creating 4D installations and producing 3D projections for Samsung. With experience in commercials, feature film and emerging technology such as VR, 4D, games and now interactive film and branching narrative storytelling.
A rare producer who’s technically advanced, detail-oriented and playful in her storytelling, her favourite thing is challenging audiences to contribute to the story and see new points of view, without being didactic.
Jade has also produced the award-winning feature After Death (2012), worked on games, N.E.R.O by Storm in a Teacup and Call of Duty along with various sci-fi short films. She also produced viral video, Doritos: A Cheesy Love story about the dangers of palm oil – generating over 6 million views to date.
Having pioneered interactive film, she hopes to share that knowledge with other projects. She is very excited by the possibilities that interactive and immersive films can bring to audiences.
